Our Process

It can sometimes be difficult to know where to begin with building projects but here at Ataro Homes we do our best to take the hard work out of the whole process for you. 

We always begin with a free no obligation visit to the property. In our eyes, there is no substitute to a friendly conversation and a physical visit to get to understand your project's needs.

Whether you're starting from,

"I've just had this thought..." 

or

"I've got a full set of building regulation drawings"

We can help to make sure you're on the right path to getting your project completed, the right way. 

After our initial visit, we will give you an idea of budgets that would be required to complete the works. 

We avoid giving ball park prices and try to be as accurate as possible, we'll go away and spend some time thoroughly breaking down the project, your requirements and any unknowns. 

We break things down in our quotations to provide a clear understanding of the costs involved and where they come from.

We may also need to get in contact with different specialist third parties to allow us to try to highlight where additional costs are expected within the project timeline.

This can help to give a more accurate representation of the costs which may arise during you project. We find that discussing costs and potential risks at this stage is the best way to ensure that there are no hidden surprises along the way, depending on your project this may include;

Proprietary Materials, Plant Hire, Building Control, Party Wall Advice, Specialist Contractors, Structural Engineers.

As always, we feel that the key to our reputation is customer service so if for any reason you are not happy with any aspect of the quotation or scope of works then we are always on hand to discuss your requirements and any amendments that may be required.

The exact turnaround time for a quotation will be dependant on the scale of the works required but we will always discuss this with you on the initial visit and endeavour to keep you informed as we go along. 

Once we have a good understanding of your project and you are happy with the quotation provided, the next step is to look at when the proposed works are ready to be undertaken.

This is usually a negotiation between your preferred start date and a date where our team can realistically be available. We always do our best to be transparent about projected dates as this is one of our core principles as a business.
